Got a chance to hunt an awesome ranch west of Abilene (Noodle, TX) this weekend and
had a great time. We found about 8-9 coveys total I think and killed 10 birds total (there was some bad shooting involved). Also shot a hog that ran away and killed two doe for the freezer (MLD). GOOD TIMES WITH GREAT FRIENDS!

Best report of the year.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Used to hunt up near Noodle with a guy I worked with, back then it was a quail hot spot.
