Not making any big jumps but it's easing back up. Drilling is going about the same pace. Fracing has jumped quite a bit trying to catch up on wells drilled last year. See a bunch of seismic taking place nth of town.

I'd rather see the slow rise up that we are than it rocket back up.

Snake, from what I understand, Texas and a few other areas are fine for now, anything on fed land/water is supposed to be ramped down. Not to mention the pipeline and all those workers and support apparatus. Someone will have to put out more oil to pay for Kerry"s jet

Here is the Rig count data for the last 6 months. It is up about 58% from the August 2020 low of 244. The manufacturing side of O&G is still really slow with a small increase of inbound/sales. I see companies using overtime to handle the increased sales instead of hiring new or calling back laid off employees for the foreseeable future . Covid is still keeping people at home, eating at home, working at home or not working at all which will keep oil inventories at a high level which I believe is the key factor in the price of oil and gas and the amount of Fracking and drilling.

Yep. Deep water GOM is getting hurt again. Covid overreactions didn’t do enough damage to my industry, now we have biden/harris.

We have seen an uptick in work for our tanks in the Delaware. A few guys have shut down in the New Mexico part, but we are still holding steady at around 70% utilization. Thank goodness.

Appreciate you posting this hwyman and others for commenting. I have recently acquired a small interest in the Permian Basin so I am curious whats going on but only partially informed.

While Sleepy Joe's policies as a whole are a cancer to the Oil and Gas industries, his policies in the short term will inadvertently help the Permian Basin in Texas. With the increased regulation on Federal Lands (ie. Permits/Fracking) drilling will simply shift from the Federal Lands on the New Mexico side (Lea/Eddy Counties) to the privately owned lands on the Texas side.

You did what?
