Well my take on it anyway. Play on old recipe for easy apple cobbler. Wife requester one tonight while she was making venison stroganoff. Sorry no pics of the Stroganoff tonight, we were hungry from working in the woods today, took down some of the popup stands and worked on a couple feeders, tagging some huckleberry bushes and clearing out for some others. The tagged ones are going to be moved to a better location.

Is that a Bisquick topping? Looks really smooth, and not lumpy or cake-like on top.

Modify it some for that pan and our diet. Low salt and sugar.

1 1/2 cup plain flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking powder .
1 TBL cinnamon
1/2 cup Brown sugar Splenda
Cup of milk but added from there to get consistency I am looking for
half stick no salt butter melted

Whisk flour and baking powder then whisk in Splenda. Add milk and half butter melted and half the melted butter.

Drain can of peaches
cup blueberries cooked a couple minutes with tbl spoon of splenda brown sugar microwaved.

Pour rest of butter in baking dish and add 3/4 batter on top of that, place peaches on top of that and spoon in berries on top of peaches.

Thin the rest of the batter to fairly thin consistency and pour over the fruit in the dish. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.

Original apple version stick of butter melted in round Pyrex dish think those were 4 inches deep and 8 inches round.

Mix
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
tsp cinnamon

Pour on top of butter in Pyrex then add one can apple pie filling pored in on tip f mix.
Bake in oven at I think 350 for 40 minutes
The breading will rise around the apples and form a crust all the way around being a little crusty on top. Tastes good and simple. Made a lot of them over the years.
