Has anyone on the group ever hunted squirrels in the Davy Crockett National Forest? Thinking about hunting this spring up on the North end out of Alto. Any advise or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Just go and see would be all I could suggest. I would try hardwood drainages first just because that’s where they traditionally hang out. Someone more knowledgeable than me may have better advice. I’ve never hunted them in May.

Season is still open through February by the way....

This right here. Go sit still for 30 minutes and you'll probably be in luck.
