We'd like to take a week-long road trip to somewhere in Texas in the next few weeks.

Where do you San Antonio-based folks go?

How about a loop through Big Bend. Marathon (Gage Hotel), Lajitas (at the golf resort), Presidio, then Fort Davis.

The choices are almost endless ... what type of things are you interested in seeing??? nature, culture, urban, rural, springs, waterfalls, mountains, zoos, museums, etc.??? Taking adults, kids (ages???) ... lots of questions

I would make a loop and hire guides to fish Amistad, Falcon, Rayburn, and Toledo Bend.

I don't really care for fishing, but thanks.
