I want to buy some of these for a new blind I’m building. For those that have them would you recommend the hinge or sliders?

Strong preference for the hinged lights, easier to deal with and much quieter, less maintenance. Only advantage to the vertical sliders is that you can throw a couple of small wood block in the blind and then open just a small slit, big enough to glass and shoot out of but keep wind/cold out.
