I am telling you, check out the molded plastic ones from Texas Hunter. Durable yet easy to move. in addition and because they are plastic, they don't get so hot in the summer where they serve as ovens to cook them there pellets..

I have two of them. They're ok, any time it rains you have to clean out the pellets near the spout but that is with most protein feeders. I have two all seasons 2,000lb feeders one with round spouts and one with the longer rectangle open spouts. The round spouts are best for avoiding the pellets getting wet but during high winds one funnel will usually get wet. The crossfire's also tend to hold a little bit of pellets inside when "empty" because the portions that direct the feed between the spouts is not at a steep enough angle but it's usually not much maybe 20-40lbs. I'd also put them on 1" pavers so the spouts are at least 40" off the ground. The coons climb on these pretty easy if they're just setting on the ground.

Over all they're good feeders, they do what they're designed to do. I've had my two for 7 years and haven't had any real problems.

Agree with everything TX hunter65 said. I have 12 of their smaller LP feeders that I can fill from the back of my pickup. Very satisfied with the quality of the build. First ones I bought 10 years or so ago. Forget rhe name of the original company but the design remained the same. Very satisfied.
