The wife and I took our second shot of the rona vaccine today and other than a mild headache there haven't been any side effects. Guess we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Lot of effects from second shot.

I only had mild fatigue. I also had a baseball size rash on where they gave me shot.
Many had chills, body aches, headaches.

Reminds me of this fella I used to know. Fell off a five-story building. Passed each floor on the way down, people inside heard him say : "So far, so good!"

My daughter's a nurse, 2 best friends are pharmacists, and a couple other friend's are doctors. They are all recommending it. None of the three dozen shots I got, while in boot camp in the Service had any ill effects.

3 kids, and 4 out of 5 grandkids have all had it. Worse sickness they have ever had in each case. Don't want to risk the 90 year old MIL getting it, so we got her shot and they offered it to us too, at the same time.

I'm mostly recovered, still trying to kick the covid cough and restore smell/taste. I'm going to get it, but I'm also going to wait until those higher risk than me get it first.

First one kicked my butt and my next one is next Friday. At least it's not Friday the 13th.

Other than the mild headache and a sore spot at the injection site we've both been fine. I was told that people with type O blood had fewer side effects from the shots. I have no idea if that's true but we both have type O blood and haven't had serious side effects from the first of second shot.

eta: we got the pfizer vaccine.

Going for my second Tuesday. My wife had a pretty good reaction to her second.
I am kinda gun shy since I had such a bad reaction to my second shingles vaccine.
But will see.

I was a little gun shy myself but I figured that any side effects would be better than getting the virus.

My wife's been driving herself nuts on the phone, trying to get scheduled. Daughter said that several old doctors, that used to practice at the hospital years ago, just showed up, with the entire family in tow of course, and demanded all get shots. They got 'em. realmad There's no rhyme or reason to the way it's being distributed in San Antonio.

Well I had the virus. Which was not too bad at all. So with having the virus and the vaccine I should be good to go wonder around the badlands.

Which shot did you get, as if the brand may matter. I've been on the fence about this. One medical pro said he wasn't getting that "faushizzle" injected in him. roflmao

The opinions are all over the map. I want to travel a little bit this spring, but know nothing is 100%.

And perfect timing as I posted that. I don't know if Astrazeneca is even being distributed here, or what the problem is.

So Far So Good....... that is an old joke about a very optimistic man.
Man jumps off a skyscraper.
Every floor down
People hear him say,
"So Far So Good."

Hard to believe, but that joke was told by Steve McQueen in the movie, "The Magnificent Seven."
