Had some ammo taken off of my porch today. Of course it was 6.5CM ammo. If anyone comes across 10 boxes of Hornady Match 147 and 5 boxes Match 140's on the black market in DFW area.........let me know.

UPS delivery?
I have a box that holds deliveries so they aren't exposed to weather or prowling eyes. May not stop all thieves, but they get their picture made if they access the box area.

Would be interesting to know if UPS keeps stats on which drivers are getting ripped off. That little ORM-D tag is a dead give-away as to whats in the box. Just a quick text on a burner phone...

hope you get your ammo back, and catch the thugs who did it.

Sheriff's office sent someone out and a case has been filed. Not sure what will come from it. And I do think the ORM-D sticker is a giveaway.

And I do think the ORM-D sticker is a giveaway. Yep! Front door camera or Ring doorbell will be in your future.

You can have UPS (or FedEx) hold specific deliveries for pickup at their facilities.

You can have UPS (or FedEx) hold specific deliveries for pickup at their facilities. Only if shippers allow it. Some will not allow any holds or changes.

They keep stats of the areas and also specific houses where claims are filed. If they get too many in a certain area or at a certain address it goes on the no driver release list. It will pop up on any driver's board delivering there and request a signature

Also you should not be getting any packages with the ORM-D sticker anymore as it was phased out the first of the year and replaced with a limited quantity diamond label. I'm sure the thieves will figure that out though.

**Plot twist.....UPDATE**
So we had someone witness said person take the boxes - a contracted USPS vehicle/driver. (Had person description an vehicle description. The lady I was sent to meet with, not counter person, was very defensive. I described the delivery guy, vehicle, etc. She told me they did not have a male working that day, no vehicle like that, etc. We went back and forth for several minutes - she would leave and come back several times. Finally I asked...do you have any UPS boxes somewhere? She went back an came back with my 3 boxes. She then stated he picked them up by mistake. "HE" did???? I thought there wasn't a male working that day!?!? She said she was mistaken.......
Anyways, I got them back. How/why they were taken is a question. And the post office was less than helpful. I expect I will even worse service going forward after our discussion.

Cool you got them back. People do make mistakes, from time to time. Not sure why the driver would have taken them - that's strange. But I can easily imagine the woman you spoke with simply making a mistake.

But I can easily imagine the woman you spoke with simply making a mistake. I agree and hope it was a mistake. I would argue that I am still the customer and she should have at least tried to help me rather than argue. In the end I am just happy to have them back.

Yeah it is, and very sadly becoming par for the course. Glad as heck OP got his ammo, though.
