You actually pay to have your couple of hairs cut? Hopefully he's getting a cut for half price, if not he's getting ripped off.

Yeah, I was rich. In high school I ran my own roofing crew, was on work program, got out of school at 11:00AM every day to work, many in my work program class worked for me. I would open my top draw, stacked of $100 bills. Had a dirt bike, road bike, and a red corvette with a hot blond girl freind that was voted "most favorite". She used to tell me she loved my beer breath.

Thats awesome Guy So did you grow up in a poor neighborhood and put yourself through SMU and was able to pay your own way snow skiing in Europe? Actually very poor. As a kid we lived next to a pickle factory, stunk like crazy, but rent was low. My mom only had high school education, but worked her way up in the mortgage industry and served as board of directors for leading Dallas based mortgage company and ended up running her own mortgage company. Very proud of my Mom. When I graduated from high school, she bought me a "around-the-world" air fair ticket, with stops all around the world. It was not much, like less than $2k. But I paid for everything else traveling, worked all around the world, picked cucumbers in Greece for $10 a day, bartended and ski lift operator in Australia. I also paid for my own masters degree. Bonus pic below, India 1985, my buds, stayed there for 25 cents a night.

So did you grow up in a poor neighborhood and put yourself through SMU I was not completely clear here in my post above. My mother did pay for my tuition and books at SMU for my undergrad. Too much if you ask me, she wanted it more than me. I would have been fine goiing to cheaper school, and I did pay for my own graduate degree.

That is very impressive about both you and your mothers success Where did you grow up, not familiar with any pickle factories around here? I have never heard of any snow skiing in Australia although one would assume they would since they have mountains, cold weather and snow, looked it up and by golly they do. Figured those picks of you hot dogging on the slope would be from Austria instead. Anyways cool family story!

We moved around a lot when I was a kid, we lived next to the pickle factor when I was like 6 and 7 years old, we were close to Freeman elementary school in Garland. This would have been the late 60's, I tried to google it for the fun of it, but no way they would allow something like that theses days, no kidding the smell was awful. They probably got better technology now for making pickles lol. After that we moved to Dallas. My mother started making pretty good money when I was in the 6th grade, she bought her first house close to Thomas Jefferson High School.

I don't have many good ski pics in Europe, I got all those ski pics in Australia because the staff photographer that worked for the mountain, he was always taking pictures of the locals hot dog'n.
