idiots shooting divers because thats whats mostly on that lake.

What am I missing ?? They breasted the ducks, is it against the law to clean ducks?? I breast doves and quail all the time,,,, is that illegal also?? If the bird is shot up I throw it away.

They just left them in the trash.

Wanton waste on the divers and failure to leave a wing attached on the breasted out birds.

I understand why they want a wing or head left attached to the dressed bird but personally, I think it’s a pita. They ought to give you the option of completely dressing the bird for packaging, and keep the carcass in a separate bag/container. They could always match them up if you are checked on your way home.

Divers make good sausage just like anything else. I've shot ringnecks all my life and will continue. Not as good as greenheads but way better than colorants and coots.

That's too bad. Hope they catch the person(s) responsible. Seeing that it's Truscott Brine Lake, there can't be that may people that even know about that place. We used to hunt it 20+ years ago and dis well out there but it was heck on the dogs and my boat!

I haven't been to that mud hole in 10-12 years. I don't pick up my gun for divers but it I did get bored enough to shoot a mess I'd do what's right and bring them home and put them in the burn barrel. I mean feed them to my dog.

long story short, at least be smart enough to not toss them in the trash can at the entry point. Then again, they haven't been caught and tar and feathered so maybe they are smarter than we think?

They shot divers. They aren't that smart. Probably had to get back to the truck and read the du Id booklet.

I dont do as many guided hunts as I use to. But the guys who did this are the same guys who go on guided hunts and then at the end of the morning they want the pile pic but don't want to take any birds with them. I hate those type of guys and wish they weren't involved in the sport.
