Ain’t nobody that can stuff a casing with tasty meat and meat by products better than the Czechs. Nemeceks meat market in West was the gold standard when I was kid. Slovaceks in West bought their old recipes and do a good job of continuing that tradition. Just the thought of it has me craving a hot link sandwich with spicy mustard.  Used to love the “Hot Chubbies” from Nemeceks and the hot link sandwiches from Viteks in Waco.

I know Gooch well. My dad had a corn dog production line and Gooch was the brand they used.
I’ve unloaded a few Gooch trucks in my life.
I might have loaded some of them Gooch trucks. I had to look when I worked on the loading dock, it was either a week in the summer or at Thanksgiving break during 1971. A friend worked there and they needed fill in help and I was in between classes or on Thanksgiving break. It was incentive to stay in college.
