The Big Cup Eatery is good. I have only gotten the quesadilla burger and its killer. Sure there are some places on the square and Hammond's BBQ is solid.

Loco Coyote

or

Rough Creek Lodge

opposite ends of the spectrum, but both are quite tasty!

The Green Pickle is good. Hollywood and Vine is a good one too. If they are still open.

Loco Coyote is great but the wait can be long! Great bar to hang out and have a drink while you're waiting. Blackies in Glen Rose is a great bar with bar food, Blackies in Walnut Springs has great steaks! Riverhouse Grill is a good place for sit down dining. Might check in with Inn on the River for specials. Green Pickle for juicy burgers, only open at lunch.

There used to be a place called Hollywood and Vine that was pretty good. Patio seating. Im not sure if it is still open.

My vote is the green pickle, great juicy burgers and reasonably priced.

we ended up going to the Big Cup since they had outdoor seating. We were the only ones on their patio. I had the CFS with loaded baked potato with fried okra. My wife had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. We both liked our meal. The CFS had a nice crispy crust with pretty decent cream gravy, and the fried okra was nicely battered and crispy. My wife just Googled places with outdoor seating and ruled out burgers. I'd go back and their breakfast menu looked really good.
