I will be looking for a black buck next. I will say Axis is a lot better meat than whitetail.

When you consider how many people hunt in Texas and have never seen a free range axis, you have a trophy to be absolutely proud of. Enjoy and good luck on your Blackbuck.

I will say Axis is a lot better meat than whitetail. Axis meat is the best. I shoot them whenever I can. I shot this one at 15 yards out of the truck on what we call axis highway.
