Even I know my limitations, and don't mess with excellence. Doesn't get much better than Marie Callender's Chicken Pot Pies on a cold winter night!!! We were out on the desert looking at big herds of elk today, and blew right thru lunchtime.

Yummy pies, hot sauce and lots of black pepper. Finished off the red vine vinegar cucumbers and cherry tomatoes too. I think I need to go down to my trophy room, and "watch" some TV for a while.

If I am eating a store pot pie it will be that brand.

About 10 years ago I had total knee replacement. My plan was to eat Marie Callender's Chicken Pot Pies 2-3 times each week for a couple of weeks.

My plans were shattered as I read the nutrition label on the package as I eating my first pie. The pies have way too much sodium and calories to be eaten frequently, but the pies are delicious.

Sounded so good, we couldn't help ourselves, but yes, these are the first in about 6-8 months!! Way too big, and lots of calories. I like my smaller home-made ones, in large biscuit tins.

Love it.

Had the beef one a couple of nights ago, the beef was tuff. Have to try the chicken.

I prefer Marie calendar peach cobbler or cherry pies

Like most prepared food you get the sodium content among other things puts it off my diet. But that brand does taste good

They are tasty, just don't read the numbers on that nutrition thing.
