A couple weeks ago, I was able to cross paths with this nice buck at my family ranch in Dimmit County. My widest buck to date. He was following some does and was 239 yards away when the 280AI stopped him in his tracks. A friend of a friend makes these euro mounts and I decided to give him a call. I usually do my own and mount them to some cedar from the ranch, but I was super busy and I heard he did good work. Delivered this morning. I’m very pleased! Brow tines are only about an 1 inch. He would fall under a management buck for our place for that reason, but we think he was likely 5.5yrs old, which is our very minimum age for shooting a mature buck.
