You'll come to know, when the bullet hits the bone. I didn't come this far and get this old by Backing Up.
When my Remington 1100 started spitting parts, I found a Remington Model 11 in a pawn shop. It had a 30” full choke, so I had Briley cut it to 27” and install screw in chokes. Wonderful old gun. Mine has the solid rib on the barrel. It never was pretty and getting no prettier, but man it’ll shoot.
One of the big happy things about the old shotgun is that, being recoil operated, it never ever gets carboned up. I hated cleaning that 1100 after a long day shooting doves or quail.
I have a S&W M&P target 38 Special which was shipped from the factory on 5-12-1920. I had to pay $100 for the letter from the S&W Historical Foundation to find out the ship date and where it was shipped to.

Uprisings started or quelled, tornadoes rerouted, elections rigged.
The six shooter I'm told was perfect to fit inside your coat pocket sitting at a poker table. LOL, not sure but in the old movies all that smoke was from black powder.

I have a colt 1903. It is an early model that was manufactured in 1914 if I recall. Still shoot that one. Also have a S&W j frame from 1954 that I still carry...although that's not that old. I do have an old Winchester 1886 chambered in 38-56 that I have never fired. When I looked up the serial number, it was an early 1900's manufacture. If I ever run across some 38-56 ammo, I'll probably shoot it....come to think of it, it'd probably be easier to find 38-56 right now than 30-30. LOL.
Always enjoy seeing the older guns. I have one of those antique Winchesters too. Only mine is in 32. I do carry it from time to time, but with only 4 rounds and cocked on the empty cylinder.
