Looks great! What temperature, 135? How tender was it? Tri tip is supposed to have a good flavor.

129.2° for two hours and seared for about 90 seconds each side. Tri tip is one of my favorite cuts of beef, pretty darn tender.

Tri-tip is a great cut, you just can't over cook it. Cheap, too.

Costco sells them in Prime grade. They come in 2 packs and are $9-10 a pound.

I was actually just at my Costco and saw the Prime at $9.99/lb.
