I traded for this TC Encore Pro Hunter from a THF member a few years ago. It's had a bunch of custom work done to it and sports a 16" MGM barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor. It originally had an AR stock and pistol grip on it, which was cool, but didn't allow me to get a good cheek weld. I bought a conventional stock from another good fella here on THF, and put a stock pack and sling on it. Now I can get a perfect cheek weld for my scope height. It shoots factory Superformance 129 SST at 2740, and prints 5-shot groups around an inch at 100 yards. And it sho is handy. 37" overall with the Omega. Mine is just a Bergara barrel cut off at 16 1/2” and has a Mike Bellm trigger spring kit that breaks at about a pound and 3/4. Not much to the Encore action.

He said "that looks illegal short". I tell that story frequently when that rifle is broke out. I’m a HUGE fan of the short barrel suppressed stuff. My Encore is a 16” 7-08AI, I hunted with it the last three years and a different bullet every season. Fun little combo that I really enjoy shooting and hunting with. I’ve since got some other short barrels in the works, most recently a 16.5” 6.5 saum.
