This bill will absolutely destroy gun ownership. Biden swore he would kill the NRA & he wasn't kidding. A Texas(Houston) congresswoman is doing this!
They want to ID everyone that owns a gun or ammo & create a federal license. Then, they can revoke your license & confiscate your gun.
If this bill passes, then the 2nd amendment is effectively over. They'll claim if you follow the regulations, then you have the right, but they can change the regs at any time. What this really means is your right to own a gun is over whenever they say so.

The $800.00 a year for insurance should be seen as an attack on people of color. Per the democrats, people of color are usually in the lower social/economic class. I wonder if that is $800 per license or per gun? That could get really expensive, very quickly. Per the purposed law the Winchester "Model 1892 Deluxe Octagon Takedown" would be outlawed as it can hold 11 rounds. Only .22 caliber lever action firearms can hold over 10 rounds in tubular magazines.
I can't imagine getting 15 to 25 years for a minor infraction of this draconian law. If this passes the house and senate we are headed to the gas chambers, via box cars that take us to the camps.

Did you notice the bill said the database is public record? So anyone who wants to steal a gun can search by make/model to find out where the gun they want is located. So handy.

Abbott won't let this be enforced in Texas. I'm not the biggest Abbott fan, but he told the "0" administration to pound sand on anti 2A executive orders or legislation. And yesterday he told the Biden admin they are not going to destroy Texas energy production.

A kiddy porn suspect the FBI was serving a warrant on this morning took out five agents and killed two of them in the process. A 40% fatality rate for serving warrants doesn't bode well for successful gun confiscation by the feds in the future.

While they talk a big game Democrats haven't been very successful passing Federal legislation on firearms, they have their own constituent's to deal with. Not all democrats are gun hating liberals and they can't afford to pizz off their own voters. Reelection means more to them than anything. State by state is a whole different story.

Which is what daddy Bloombucks and his anti gun orgs are using as a strategy. They are trying to get anti gun state reps elected so that each state will enact its own draconian gun laws.

Yep, and she isn’t going anywhere until she decides it’s time to retire. She’s in a gerrymandered district that only votes D and she controls the upstart politicians with an iron fist. Off the top of my head, I want to say that she usually wins with 80-85% of the vote every time. She’s an older AOC, but at least with AOC, there is a small chance she could get primaried out. That won’t ever happen to Queen Sheila.
