Wife wants to take me on a hunt for my 40th this year. She wants to go somewhere "pretty", probably state side due to current travel restrictions. Not interested in high fence of any size. I don't have a "bucket list" of animals. I've shot axis, elk, pronghorn and whitetail. Three or four day hunt. $10k or less all in. Ideas?
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

For $10k how about a 2 for 1? West Texas Aoudad and NW black bear. Both feasible for under $10k.
Oh wait......you said pretty. West Texas is pretty....but maybe not “wife pretty” or accommodating/comfortable.

For $10k I would go on a mule deer hunt in NM or Colorado
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Hell for $10k I would go to Kingsview safaris in South Africa and say at their place next to the Indian Ocean
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Does it have to be big game? WIth you budget you could go do one of the Argentina 1000 birds a day hunts. And some of them do combo dove/duck hunts. I'm sure if you look around someone down there also does a bird / big game hunt
And from all the pictures I've seen the ranches are real pretty, wife friendly and the food is awsome.

I'm pretty sure Argentina is closed to international travel.
The prettiest state I've ever visited is Utah, followed by Alaska.

I'd do a 3rd season Colorado mule deer hunt.
