I used one of these for the first time last week on a deer at 204 yards. This tripod was rock solid, I was highly impressed. They are a bit heavy for caring around on a spot and stalk hunt, but for a pop-up (which is what I was in) or a set up location it worked very well.

I messed with one at a store, it didn’t seem to have a tilt function, is that really the case or did I miss something? You missed something they do tilt. I figured so. Seemed like a solid option for an affordable tripod. I run a Reaper Grip on a larg CF tripod and also a Primos Trigger Stick tripod.

I have a carbon death grip..it is very nice for the price but they do not tilt. I bought a ballhead adapter for it from a machinist. Still need a ballhead to test it out.

Hmmm, mine sure does. Great big knob on the side of the head. Loosen it to tilt.

Couldn't agree more, these things are MONEY! I have the aluminum version and mine tilts and rotates. Super steady shot!

They rotate and tilt up and down but have no side to side adjustment to level the gun. You have to level using the leg adjustments.
