... we lost the greatest college football coach of all time (well, at least up until Saban?) - less than 1 month after his last game.

That day I also lost my uncle who taught me to hunt and fish. Tough day.

Continuing RIP Paul Bryant and Uncle Don.

Sorry about your uncle sir.

I watched a little documentary last night on The Mighty Mites, football team of orphans taken into the Masonic something or other back in the 30’s-50 I think. Apparently the coach was awesome too. Went on to Highland Park district afterwards. Great 1 hour watch. If i find it, I’ll attach a link. A show called Nowhere but Texas

They actually made this in to a full length feature film with some good actors. It was filmed at the Pythian Home in Weatherford. It just got picked up by Sony and should release some time this spring. It's called 12 Mighty Orphans.
