Had a bunch of beautiful loin cut chops thawing out, so wanted to fry them up. The wife makes an awesome sawmill gravy from all the cooked flour and drippings. Her style is single dredge, so a lot comes off for the gravy. I did Southern-fried with double dredge and egg, and only mixed my flour with pepper and Magic Dust! I love cooking side by side, 'cause when her hands are a mess, I can grab her butt or higher, and she doesn't fight back. I don't think she fights hard tho!!





Love the look of double-dredge and fry, almost like the fried chicken I grew up on. You can't go wrong with either.

Top notch. Add fried okra, and that is a meal we have almost weekly at our place.

Fried okra is one of those dishes that can be either fabulous, or disgusting. Fresh sliced, breaded, and fried in bacon grease I don't think there's a better vegetable out there. My wife would never even try it, until I introduced her to some good ones in Crystal River Florida at a BBQ joint. She couldn't stop talking about how good they were!! They have that effect, the first time you get good ones!!
