Everyone is throwing out international, which I didn't think you wanted. Obviously some great beaches there.

Florida gulf beaches are great, but usually crowded.

Amelia Island Florida is cool, shouldn't be too bad with crowds, but not a great beach.

My favorite is Charleston, but because of the food and history in the area. Beach is so-so with a lot of current.

To hit all of your checklist, I would check out the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Usually not too crowded, plus there are miles and miles of seashore you can drive to and get away from the crowds if you're area is too crowded for her liking.

FYI, in order to get back from out of country the US is now requiring a covid test within 3 days of travel! Good luck with that in most international destinations. I will not be traveling out of country until that ends.

I'm not opposed to international, she's just been scared of it from "what she's been told". I could potentially talk her into something. I think it would kind of depend. Wherever we go, we wont be on the beach 100% of the time, but spend a lot of time there. We do like to get out and explore. I actually have some friends that live in NC and will see if they have some recommendations up that way. I've been up there for work, but didn't get over to the coast any.

There's a lot of solid contenders in this list from the little I've looked into some of them. I've got a pretty good list so far that I'm going to pitch to her. I know it's still a pretty long ways out still, but it'll help figure out what to budget for as well.

Just thought I'd update where we decided on. We looked up all of yalls recommendations and landed at Hawaii for our trip. I've been to Hawaii once with my parents, but it's been 15 years ago now. I thoroughly enjoyed it and think it'll be a blast to go back with the bride.

68A, I'll be in touch with you shortly.

Did they drop the 14-day quarantine? I heard of a few people that spent the trip in their hotel rooms, but that's probably old news.

Need a report on how it is. I've always wanted to go, but have never been. I remember the same about the quarantine.

As of right now, there's 2 options.

1. 14 day quarantine
2. A covid test within 3 days prior to traveling. They are also testing at random 25% of passengers flying in.
