That’s a hard price range, your mount will be 3/4 of that cost
Maybe a low end vortex, Burris , or leupold. A brand with a warranty.
A SWFA fixed model would be a good choice

Academy has a Burris IV Fullfield 3-12 for $219. They also have an E1 bundle of two, a 3-9 and a 4-14, for $399, but my Academy in Lubbock offered me that pair on a close out of $286. You could sell whichever one you didn’t use.

I have the Burris Fullfield E1 long range MOA reticle on my DPMS LR 243 and my nephew has one on his Savage MSR 6.5 . We like them and have had no issues. The good thing about Burris is they have a forever no questions asked warranty.

I won a sig whiskey and put it on my ar10 for my son to use in s texas. it worked out great.
