I watched both games. I did what I needed to do for the day before 1 o'clock and then firmly planted my butt on the couch for 7 hours and watched the games. Was happy with the outcome of both.

You can still watch pro sports without agreeing with social and political views of the athletes. Just like you can still listen to music with musicians whose views differ from yours or watch movies/shows with actors who you may not align with. For anyone who watches college football, but pretends to boycott the NFL, these guys all played for universities you love to root for.
And if you still want to watch Ellen or the Kardashians, you have deeper issues that require immediate attention.

You can still watch pro sports without agreeing with social and political views of the athletes. Just like you can still listen to music with musicians whose views differ from yours or watch movies/shows with actors who you may not align with. For anyone who watches college football, but pretends to boycott the NFL, these guys all played for universities you love to root for.
And if you still want to watch Ellen or the Kardashians, you have deeper issues that require immediate attention. Hard to argue with this.
