Havent had any hogs on cameras since November 13 here in near Perrin TX. Not complaining but finding it odd as it seems I was overrun with them before deer season. Nothing has changed, feeder still putting out.

Once deer season began, every feeder in the county was running. Plus, when acorns are available hogs will walk over corn to get the acorns which they seem to prefer. Their feeding patterns have changed.
Additionally, I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few deer hunters took shots at hogs, further disrupting whatever patterns they may have had.

They'll be back. No telling when.

That’s been my experience. We trapped 4 about a month ago and I haven’t seen a sign of any more since. They’ll be back...

They are all at my place. I sent my brother to and his brother in law to knock them out. They got 6 and saw 30 in one sounder and 25 in another.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

They don't pattern at all on our place. My best bet is to put down hog pipes a couple days before the hunt then stay all night until they show. Could be 7:30pm or could be 5am.

They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason! nidea

Right, it can be hard to see the hogs when you expect them to come to you (i.e., your feeder). The hogs are going to be somewhere. Sometimes, you have to go find them.

In hunting 20 or so properties, on a given successful night, I may only see hogs on 1 or 2 properties and so actually have a property 90-95% failure rate. I think the most properties I have shot hogs on in a given night was 7. The norm for successful nights is probably 2-3 properties that produce, but there are some nights where none produce. I have some properties that only produce hogs for once every few months. Some properties seem to run in unpredictable cycles. We will take hogs off them several times in a given month and not see much on them for several weeks.

procraft05 noted that the hogs are hitting the wheat fields right now and not his feeder. So if just monitoring the feeder, it looks like the hogs are gone, but they really aren't. They have simply shift focus for a while. Depending on the source/study, feral hogs may have home ranges as small as 250-300 acres up to nearly 16 square miles. Your hogs may not be showing up at your place right now, but aren't actually gone, either.
