I need powder to load for a 308 my wife bought me for Christmas. I have powders for my 7mm Mag, 9.3x62 and 375 H&H but they are too slow burning for the smaller case. There is no powder available anywhere.

I'm low on 44 cal 240 gold dots got maybe 30 loaded for hunting just can't practice any and just worked up a load for the Banshee 10mm and it liked 180 sierras and have not found any online anywhere . So I'm on the look out for them and a few more 10mm brass. Guess I will back off on shooting some because who know when components will become available and I refuse to pay some of the prices stores are asking. Plinking with the 22 pistol to stay in practice for my handgun hunting.

Pass the gravy.

Accurate 2200. 2230, 2460, 2520, Ramshot Tac, Ramshot X-Terminator, RL-15, IMR 3031, IMR 4064, Benchmark, Win 748, Bl-C(2), H4895, etc.... I go to the Dallas Area once a month or so. Graham isn't that far out of the way when I go down so I can make it work if you have anything.

most are scared to shoot until ammo starts showing back up. Which puts me between a rock and a hard place since I have a hunt *fast* approaching for which I *need* to practice shooting. I'm simply not a skilled and confident shooter.

I bought my daughter an AR10 6.5CM in the summer for her bday in December. This was the first 6.5 I’ve bought so I wasn’t prepared with the ammo like I am for my other guns. She was wanting to practice the other day but unfortunately we don’t have enough 6.5 for her to shoot as she pleases. I’m hoping this BS ends soon but I don’t see it happening and I refuse to pay $2+/rd. for factory ammo. Sent Dallas Reloads an email 2 weeks ago to see what his plan is but haven’t heard back. I’ll just keep hoping to get lucky I guess.

I could use a couple more boxes of Nosler 7-08 brass. I had one roll off the table and fall into something that swallowed it. I didn’t know how much I liked that little piece of brass until it was gone. Sad day indeed. Lol

I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I’m good on most of mine except for 308. Trading for a 110 tactical today in 308 and got rid of all mine a while back. Getting some in the trade but it’s just fmj and a small amount of good ammo. I just can’t believe that I can’t even find 2 or so boxes of large rifle primers and 1 pound of powder that isn’t $150 damn dollars

I'm good on all my ammo needs except 44mag. I've got enough to hunt with, but practicing is out of the quesiton with that one. I've got enough reloading components for 45acp, 9mm, .308 and .223/5.56 to last a while. I'll be glad when this crap is over though. I've slowed down my shooting to ensure I don't run out of anything.
Thanks,
Marty

I'm sure you know best, since your shooting company failed and closed in only a few years time. Mines still going strong, since 2007!

I'm pretty good here. I find powder quite a bit online that I pass up, and bought a brick of LRP's a couple of weeks ago. Passed on all the H335 8's I could want the other day because I still have a bunch of CFE 223. I am getting slightly short on 7mm bullets and a couple of types of powder that some guns like the most. I'm down to my last 4 pounds of 8208 XBR and N140 for my 6.8 and 7-08, but can substitute other similar powders that come close in accuracy for those calibers if needed. Oddly, I don't load for pistols much, but have rows of Bullseye, Unique, 231, and WST. I think at one point I was gearing up to get into IDPA matches. I did the math and it's about 28k rounds worth of pistol ammo. I'll never shoot it all in my lifetime.

As long as I can be disciplined, and just hunt I'm good for a very long time. But I won't be going to a hunters rifle challenge, or shooting on our range for a very long time. I also won't be shooting 40 -50 pigs this year. That's 2 + boxes. I'll hunt them, but make it more sporting and target specific, big boars. I'm not sure how many hunters are in the same shape as me but I suspect it's a huge number. Soon, hogs will rule the world. This situation has got to be hammering heli hunting and the like. Add it up, I'll shoot 40 fewer hogs this year. I'm one guy. How many hunters are not shooting hogs due to the ammo shortage? 10,000? Adds up quick.

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.
