With anywhere from 30%-60% of front line healthcare workers (depending on where you live) refusing the vaccine there has been doses available for the general public.

I'm waiting for the Antidote.

None yet in my area.

Over 65 started last week.

There have been a couple of announcements somewhere in DFW that allowed anyone in that group to sign up.

If you're 65+ or have a health condition that makes you high risk, you can get it now without much problem. Took my wife 4 days from making the online request with Denton County Health Dept. to get an appointment. It was all done via drive thru and she never got out of the car. Less than 30mins total including the wait time to see if you have a reaction. As smooth and fast as it was I think they must have hired a team from Chick-fil-A. If you're an old, or high risk health-wise, don't be a knucklehead. Go get the shot.

Got mine early last week in Tarrant County. Just a few days after signing up. Wife signed up too but is still waiting for her appt. I have no idea what they're basing appts on.

My parents got the first dose from left overs from first responders that refused them. Their both in their 70’s and decided the possible advantages outweighed the risks at their age.

Live in Tarrant county, I got my first dose yesterday. The wife's also still waiting on her first.

Curious about that, my MIL is a front line worker in a hospital, she was told she was getting the vaccine or she wasn't working.

I'll take the chance that those reports are nonsense, rather than to inject God knows what in here.

Here in Abilene it was offered but not required for first responders and hospital workers, nursing home staff.

I would just guess the fire department was around 50% and I heard the hospital was about 60% that refused.

I just heard today that we (fire department) are administering the vaccines to the public today at a shot clinic they set up at the Expo Center. I don't know what the requirements are to be eligible to get it.

I saw two guys the other day I grew up with who had polio, I will gladly get it asap. I don't buy into the internet conspiracy theory BS about the vaccine.

Got mine two weeks ago.

I'm not a cop anymore and living in the woods, so I will just have to wait my turn now. I'm sure a few months ago I would have got it sooner, but I'm okay with the fact that I'm not a higher priority now.

Been a first responder for most of my life. I don't want to be anywhere near this vaccine for me or my family!
