I've made a few working as a bartender, the curious thing is that I never made a vodka Gibson, the Gibson drinkers all wanted gin.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

I believe that’s a true Gibson although I’d rather have one with good Vodka.

Gibson guitars are awesome. I’ve not played in many years but love the sound.

I was a classicly trained mixologist at Bennigan's in college. A Gibson is just a Martini garnished with an onion vs an olive. To this day, I still usually have a jar of those onions in my fridge. Odd, but uniquely tasty snack.

Did not know that. I like a filthy ketel one martini (think Jenna Jameson filthy) with 3 blue cheese stuffed olives. Gin only goes with tonic and lime IMO.
It is hard to find a good martini at most restaurants. Normally you have to be at a high end steakhouse to get what I like.....Pappas Bros in Dallas comes to mind as my favorite. Their bartenders stuff the olives with BC fresh before every shift.
