I've been seeing their posts. Their price was great, so like I been seeing all these years I called Doug at Camera Land and told him I was from the Texas Hunters Forum. Their listed price for the scope matched the lowest I could find anywhere. Shipping from New York to Texas, I paid no tax. He gave me free UPS ground shipping and an additional 6% discount off the price. I placed my order late in the afternoon and it shipped the same day. I'll probably have it Friday. All done I saved some good coin and it shipped same day.

Doug and the guys at Cameraland,NY are good to go. Purchased several items from them. Have an order with them now just waiting for scope to hit Cameraland.

I bought a new Spotter/ Tripod from Doug a few weeks ago. Great folks to do business with and I recommend them all the time when I get asked about optics.

They should open a TX location! Several purchases, they've treated me well. Would we have to start paying sales tax if they do that? As it is they should stay, prolly the only good thing NY has going for it.

Doug - I talked to Neil yesterday while you were busy. He educated me as to how bad the shortage is. I wanted some German glass, no illumination needed, simple plex that'll go up to at least 12X, to go on the .300 Win. Mag. mentioned above. He said to try and find something locally before I do anything, deposit-wise, to, for lack of a better term, "get in line", but I'm not sure I'm gonna have much luck. The hunt isn't 'til November, but I wanted time to practice with that dam shoulder-stomper. I can always swipe the Swarovski off my .30-06, but I hate breaking up a marriage. PM me if you have any guidance, and thanks in advance.

I bought a Meopta from Doug last month at a good discount because the box was torn. The scope I received was perfect as was the box! This is my 2nd scope from Doug & I highly recommend you check with him first on any optics.

Just got my new Swarovski Z3 in last week from Cameraland. Can't recommend them enough! Will be using them for future purchases! I already want to upgrade to the Z5!
