My company tests investigational drugs as part of the FDA submission process for new drugs being developed. Recently we took part in testing the Moderna covid vaccine.

Who do you work for? My wife is a CRM, I think that’s right, she’s the boss over CRA’s.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what does 'now retired on duty' mean?

When a patrol officer/SGT leaves patrol for a desk job, we refer to them as “retired on duty”

Makes sense, thank you! I didn't know if it was some sort of consulting type gig, or something. I've never heard it before. Only law enforcement officer in my family is only 28...He's a sheriff's deputy.

I oversee remediation for areas that have been devastated by natural disaster. My official title is Project Manager but I do all types of things in this area. Flying back to Northern California tomorrow morning for more site assessments on properties that burned throughout the last year.

Stay at home dad and full time graduate student. I’ll have a Masters in Health Care Administration from UTRGV upon completion.

I simply woke up one day last year and decided working for the interests of oil company shareholders who didn’t give a crap about me wasn’t for me. It was always about money, money, money. Now, I’ll get to have a say in bettering people’s lives as a director, and later an executive in a health system.

If you have a desire to step out with on a limb and take that leap of faith; do it yesterday. I should’ve done this years ago.
