Four with the 6.5 Creedmoor, one with my old school .243. Like almost of all the hogs I've killed over the last five years, these were killed with SST bullets. For old times sake I pulled out the .243 I've had for 41 years and hit this one on a stalk. Even the one I killed on the run after I shot the first that was hit in the gut dropped right there, those were shot with my 6.5 Creedmoor, 129 gr. SST. One of these was at 285 yards. I actually shot this rifle earlier in the day at 200, 300 and 400 yards for drop. It worked out. [Linked Image]

Well done! I have a .243 b/a that I've carted around for years. I've collected every species of huntable game in the State of Texas with it, and every varmint/vermin species as well. Got a couple of safes full of other firearms in other calibers and none of them do the job any better than my trusty .243; not even my 6.5 Creedmoor!

Looks like you have the neck shot down, good work.
This can't be possible the 6.5 CM is only good for poking holes in paper at 1000 yrs.

Just kidding! roflmao

Maybe that's why it was the one I got on the run.

Wow. Looks like you are quite the marksman. Several years ago I bought a used .243, to have as a backup rifle. After sighting it in, I tried it deer hunting. I shot two deer, and they both dropped, not another step taken. I think maybe it was because the bullet was able to expand inside the deer. I can't base too much from this, but do feel comfortable with the gun.
