Had some left over homade biscuits. Made some venison stew and jalepeno bacon and Sriracha Brussel sprouts. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/01/full-33365-275972-20210118_181935.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/01/full-33365-275973-20210118_181940.jpg)

Looks great! I'd need more though. I'm having smothered pork chops (in a light onion gravy), smothered potatoes with smoked ham hocks, collard greens with smoked deer sausage, and corn on the cob. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/01/full-28445-275975-4.jpg)

Oh sure... Show all this while I'm fasting for my annual blood draw. Now I'm starving. Thanks!

I plan to cook some greens tomorrow. What are these called and where did you find them? ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/01/full-16668-276055-image.jpg)

Bill, those are Collard Greens. I buy them from the produce section at HEB. They always have fresh Collard and Mustard Greens, sometimes fresh turnip greens and spinach. I just rinse them and chop them up, then stew them in a pot of chicken broth & seasoning with some caramalized onions in butter, garlic, and either smoked deer sausage or ham hocks. They’re delicious.
