We killed a doe Friday evening.. quartered it on the tailgate without gutting., took straps etc. We put the carcass where we usually do our field dressing. I looked at it Saturday about 5pm and it was gone. The whole thing, hide, rib cage innards, everything. It wasn't immediately apparent, but then I saw about a 5" diameter circle of dirt and a big pile of dirt and straw in the center. The carcass was buried there. Big claw marks all around it in the dirt. We thought mountain lion but that seemed remote .So we put a camera on it overnight and caught this big tom bobcat. He was on it for about 6 hours and there was very little [Linked Image]

Cool pictures of what cats do with a meal. I have heard they do that but I have never seen picture evidence. up

Pretty cool, big healthy Tom.

I like to set my game cams on 'video' for that kind of thing, but your pics are good.

Very cool, I’ve always wanted to set up a cam on a gut pile to see what all feasts on it. It’s amazing how quickly the scraps can be removed.
