Where in the heck does one cash it in? I refuse to roll coins, and I also prefer not to use coinstar......don't they charge 10-15%?
I have close to a 5 gallon bucket full. Newborn college fund starter.

Thanks

My credit union has a change counter for members. Just like coinstar but free.

My bank ( Inter Bank ) has a mechanical counter. They just pour the coins in and it goes round and round and separates and counts everything and gives you a total. They do not charge a percent.

Don't use much cash but when I have change I keep it in the middle console of my truck.

Coinstar is in most grocery stores, but it's a rip-off. Charges 11.9% if you get cash. Easier to get Amazon gift card and purchase stuff on-line. Yep, I keep about $10 in quarters in the truck console, if I need to use the carwash. All other change gets dumped every evening into a jug labeled Hunting Fund, on the night stand by the bed. .

Hey Bill, I keep about $20 in quarters in my truck for the after lease trip car wash. Rest go into a gallon Jim Beam bottle. Wife has a 3-4 ft tall plastic Coca Cola bottle full of change.

Payne once showed a 5 gallon jug of change but he didn't ask us to guess. It was a trick. He didn't know himself.

Better be a stout dude. I had to use a dolly and my son in law to haul mine off to the bank. Then we had a smaller bucket we’d pour out some coins a little at a time to place into the machine.

We cashed in a bit over 1500 and I gave it to our daughter/son in law to go to their wedding.

My banks did not have a coin counter. We had to open an account somewhere that did.

Both Frost Bank and EECU will count coins for free for members/account holders.

I make a point of using my change. Keep a coin purse and always try to use it when paying cash.
