No further explain what I'm looking for is a place that has alittle cabin or lodge, nothing fancy, just a place to sleep and shower and cook meals. Just give me a map with some spots circled where the birds are routinely seen, like this meadow, this water hole, and so fourth and let me fo do my own thing.
If I can't find a semi guided hunt like this my back up plan is lincoln national forest

We used Lobo Outfitters in Colorado for NM access years ago. Worked out great for us, 2 nice birds.
We have Merriam's in Wyoming as stated above and they can be easily hunted DIY on public land.
