Saw where they got fined for having 22 deer not fit for human consumption.

Don’t know if anyone uses them, but if you do I’d be careful. Evidently weren’t keeping deer in cold storage.

This is one of the reason I insist on cutting my own game. I know the meat was handled and I know how it is processed. Never understood taking game in to be processed. Last month I cut, packaged and ground 3 whitetails in one day. It isn't difficult and it doesn't take that long to cut a single deer.

I can understand there are a number of reasons why hunters have them processed. But it is a good feeling knowing the deer I harvested is in my freezer... cheers

I’m the same and I enjoy processing our own.
Making sausage,hamburger,steaks and jerky.
