I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

My bet is that it’s more of an accounting gimic to protect their assets from the NY DA who is trying to sue them out of existence.
Thanks, Rich

Ok, for the record it's likely the bankruptcy was a legal stratagem to avoid giving money to the State of New York. They aren't out of money and its unlikely they will be. Here's a thought: you may not like them, but we don't have many friends right now and if you impose purity tests on the few that we've got, you pretty much guarantee disaster in congress. Sometimes you've got to hold your nose and pick the least bad choice.

Despite what the thread title says, they are not moving their HQ to Texas. They are only filing for Chapter 13 and plan to re-incorporate in Texas. The HQ will remain in Virginia.

Agree with Synerecus and Uncle Bubba. They are just about the only organization that we have.

How does that company go broke ? Corrupt leadership First of all, I'm pro-gun and pro 2A. But as others have stated, I won't renew my membership with the NRA until CEO Wayne LaPierre is gone. Here are a couple of my favorites from Wayne's misuse of NRA members money. 1. According to internal documents leaked to the Wall Street Journal, LaPierre spent $274,695.03 on business suits/clothing. 2. LaPierre was accused of traveling with his family to the Bahamas by private plane at least eight times in an approximate three-year period, costing the organization more than $500,000. I guess he follows the old saying 'It's not a crime if you don't get caught'. Here are a couple of articles on the NRA scandal/abuse: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...sed-nra-personal-piggy-bank-n-y-n1236068https://lawandcrime.com/high-profil...eeks-to-destroy-gun-rights-organization/

The NRA is still a political powerhouse for the 2nd. Not supporting them, regardless of how many whores and Jell-O shots they've done on a private jet, is foolish if you want to keep your guns. They are the only game in town. I read some posts on here about TSRA, nobody in Washington even knows what that stands for and they certainly don't care. Support the NRA or get ready for legislation that will change your life.
