J Alfreds. Named after The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock by T.S. Eliot. While going to school this was one of three jobs I held down at the same time. When I walked in to my very first shift to work as a parttime barback/glasswasher/sandwich steamer/peanut shell sweeper, April 14 1974 Easter Sunday, a guy was carrying out a girl over his shoulder with a bunny costume on. My life was completely altered from that day forward.

At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR

I lived near there on Dunhaven drive in a really expensive house. I paid $15,000. No sweat. It was a 30 plan. Monthly payment of $128. I was never strapped.

My dad and I use to go to Little Bit of Sweden, loved that place. First time to eat Caviar. It was a smorgasbord IIRC.

We went to Vance Godby's often when I was growing up. Always passed by Casino Beach on the way but never went there. It looked like it would have been fun.
