I picked up a couple of shotguns from a relative that need to be shot. I also picked up a Gamo .22 Swarm air rifle. I need to sight in the air rifle and no place around the house, so I might head out to Granger to sight in the scope. Was waiting until after deer season to just do a little walk-in for squirrel or rabbit to maybe shoot the shoptguns but didn't want to interfere with any hunting. When will be a good time to bring the shotguns out there and do a little shooting that won't mess up any hunting otherwise? I never shot out at Granger and want to get off on the right foot with the law and other hunters.

Thanks!
JB

I do not believe target shooting is allowed at Granger. But I could be wrong. I would call the WMA or the warden for that area to verify. Have fun.

Thanks for the input. I can sight the air rifle elsewhere. Mainly concerned about the shotgun and rabbits and squirrels. Thanks

I usually wait to do my small game hunting after deer season, less ground cover makes it easier. Don't see why you wouldn't have a good time hiking around hunting.

Recommend giving small game hunting behind the dam a try. Really nice hardwood bottom land forest. Must have the State PL Permit. No Target shooting.
