It's always fun when you walk into the first field and see a decent boar right away! Hunted a 50 acre wheat field last night and killed 7 (4 of which were lone boars that just kept coming out)

Nice boar. What Monocular are you using?

It looks like you use a PVS14/IR laser combo. How do you like the set up and is there anything that you'd do differently?

Good pig. Looks like he took a number of shots to bring him down.

Is that your tire gauge in the hog's mouth?

Nice pig.

Do you eat the boars, or just the sows? Neat pics.

Yup just got this PVS 14 and laser last week. Had been using a Flir PTS233 thermal scope for the last year and just wanted to try something different. The monocular is mounted on a Team Wendy Exfil LTP bump helmet and the laser is a Dbal-A2. Definitely a fun way to shoot pigs but not being able to detect them from a long ways off is a pretty big drawback compared to thermal. I'd say its fairly effective seeing pigs at 100 yards but shooting them is better around 50
