Got our first snow on Jan 1st, snowed again the following weekend and today is the first time I have no snow on the ground. I got 18 inches the first round and 5-6 the second round. The first snow was wet and heavy, second was much dryer, I figure we got around 3-4 inches of moisture out of both. All that moisture went straight down and gave everything a good soaking with no runoff. That first snow knocked down down all the old broom weed and dry grass.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Nothing beats a snow for putting moisture in the ground. Glad you are finally in good shape for moisture, should make for a beautiful spring. Between both storms, we ended up with right at 3" in Menard area. Ice got lots of live oak limbs and power poles. Adios, Gary

Wow
I did look on my weather app at previous 24 hour snowfall on that big one it certainly showed a huge area out there with 12"-24".
That is a big snowfall for sure
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
