Had to sit there tonight, drinking G&T, and watching the wife and MIL balance checkbooks. The MIL has a bookkeeping background but can't see, and the wife can't add. I just stayed out of the way; I ain't stupid... It was worth the price of admission!!! Thought I was gonna have to send them to their rooms at one point.

Split open some chicken breasts, packed them full of green chile/cream cheese/peperjack goodness, and cooked them up. Sautéed up some peppers, and sweated the onions, celery, garlic, and cumin to make a sauce. Beans are always good!! The rice was just an instant package of both white and garden vegetable, to cover with the cheese sauce.

I'd like a bowl of that.

Dammit, wrong button! Maybe I shouldn't have had that second G&T.
