Sometimes, simpler is easier, and even better. Just plain old spiral ham and home-made mac n' cheese, tomatoes and Parm instead of salad. The original spices - salt and pepper!!

don't recall eating mac n cheese much growing up, but we had some form of meat and potatoes 3 meals a day until I graduated from high school and left for college. I do recall my grandmother would make a form of mac n cheese in a big dutch oven for Thanksgiving and Christmas when the whole family came to her house.

Brings back some memories of having this for dinner, and then again for breakfast for a few days afterward!
