Looking to bite the bullet soon and purchase a gun safe. Looking to spend around $3000 to $4000. What brands do you guys recommend in this price range? Also, any recommendations on safe dealer that can move and install in the DFW area? Thanks for the help

I really like the layout of the Browning safes, with a rifle rack on the door. Seems like it would make more of your firearms easily accessible. I don't have one yet, but a Browning 49T is what is on my want list.

Liberty safe is what I bought. Go to liberty website put in information and pick out the safe you want,They will have a dealer deliver and install the safe bolt it down and how to operate. Simple and quick.

DFWsafes.com

Bought a large Browning from them last year. Very impressed with their selection and the free delivery and install.

I've been eyeballing this one too. The layout has to have a C shaped rather than rows ||| because rows are always a pain to get anything out of...especially without taking everything out.

I currently have a Canon and it's been a great safe but their new ones don't have an internal power center and they've went to the rows rather than the C shaped with a single row in the back (and even that's a pain but much more manageable if you have guns you aren't always getting out).

Good luck.

I have a Browning, the shotgun storage on the door is convenient

In that price range take a look at American Security (AMSEC). They have many offerings that are first rate.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I’m gonna have to go look at some in person and figure out which brand I like the best.

Hope this isn't too late.
I currently own a Browning safe and a Cabela's (made by Liberty) safe. Happy with both of them.
My main point is to make sure that you get a wide body model so you don't end up with two safes like I did. Mine were purchased years apart, but I wished I would have allowed for future growth of guns, binos, range finder, spotting scope, important documents & photos, etc...

Take a look at this model:
https://www.safeandvaultstore.com/products/browning-hc65-hell-s-canyon-extra-wide-gun-safe-hc65

Anyhow, get a extra wide safe. Buy once, cry once.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I think I’ve narrowed it down to Liberty or Ft. Knox.

Check out American Rebel safes. I got one and love it. Has motion activated lights as well.

Ended up buying a Champion safe from DFW Gun Safes in Keller. Great group of guys to deal with if you’re looking to buy a safe and have it installed!

Check out sturdy safe. I think they are better than liberty or Fort Knox and I have owned all three of them.
