My hat goes off to Hunting guides! My "Bonus" Grandson harvested his first deer Saturday. It was a long season of disapointments, but we stuck with it and got the job done. Rained out, Iced out, surrounded by sheep and cows, Deer too far or just across a fence. It was a good lesson in following the rules and the art of patience. I felt bad I couldn't get him in a position for a shot earlier in the season, but when I did he made it count! Awesome! We have a bonus grandson, too, the last foster boy we cared for. We had him for his first 20 months. He's almost 5 now, but we still have lots of contact with him and his sisters. My grandsons by birth call him their cousin.
