It's hard to say since OSU has some really fresh bodies, but I could see this being like it usually is, OSU keeps up in the first half and then bama slowly pulls away.

Bama fans have reason to be concerned this year. For once it appears that OS has as much or more talent in running backs and receivers, and even more important is that they have real speed now and can go deep. Not a 3 yards and a cloud of dust team now. Looks to me that if OS shuts down Bama’s one serious point getter (I forget his name), they can win.

Remember that Utah bowl game some years back.

We all know the SEC and Big 10 don't play defense like the Big 12, but I don't think it will be that high scoring of a game. Bama wins 24 to 21. By far the best two teams this year.

OSU’s dline and kicking game are supposedly tattered due to covid testing, gotta love BIG protocols which are stupid and caused a lot of mess this year. I heard a rumor OSU was following cdc guidelines now, so some players may he back, but game time will show who made the trip and who didnt. Even so, next man up. We have the studs in waitinf, so it isn’t an excuse that a few players are out.

How this game goes down will largely he determined in the trenches. Whichever team can run effectively will win. If both teams run effectively it will be a high scoring game and might he a last hands on the ball wins it type game. Defense is played differently than when most of us played and neither team tonight is a super strong defensive unit. So i feel points will be scored. I dont think waddle will be more than a distraction. I do think OSU receivers will be open all night, but will fields have time to throw. Will jones have time to throw to smith? All the games within the game will make this a fun one.

One thing for sure, these are two talented teams. Of course i think OSU will win it, but coupd see any outcome as possible. I do think bama is plenty beatable, so i am not waffling, just saying there are so many intangibles in this game from injuries to covid to coaches taking jobs before their current job is done...its just tough for me to put a score out there.

They never have an opportunity to kneel in collage football. The band in on the field before the game. Many of them are on Scholarship. Their pound parents are often in the stands.
