Being so compulsive about finding and retrieving any spent brass, I usually use a brass catcher. However, since brass and primers are so scarce right now, I overhauled some bulk Wolf "SP" .223 to make it better varmint ammo with no need to worry about losing the brass. I pulled the bi-metal bullets and dumped and weighed each powder charge. Being as much as a half grain difference in the powder charges makes the bulk stuff a little erratic as far as groups go. I resized the necks of the steel cases, set my Lyman electronic powder measure for the average of all weighed powder charges then seated new 55 grain ballistic tips. I've done this with 7.62x39 also and they shoot surprisingly well and a lot more consistent. I'm hoping these .223's do as well.

I've never understood how the word Mexican is offensive. American, Canadian, Asian, South African, Mexican. They're just words for someone's nationality.

It is not offensive regardless of what some people claim.

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

It’s not offensive. It is what it is. 😉
